US District Court of Illinois has solidified their decision regarding the Public Charge Final Rule: Starting on March 9, 2021, Public Charge Final Rule has been dismissed. Applicants for adjustment of status do not need to provide Form I-944 with their Form I-485. If an applicant has provided this information already, USCIS will not be looking at it or make decisions based on that information. Additionally, if an applicant has received a Request for Evidence (RFE) or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) only necessitated by the Public Charge Rule, the applicant does not need to take any further steps.
