Per our last news post, students carrying a F-1 or M1 visa were told by US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that they will need to leave the United States if their school decides to hold classes fully online. Fortunately, within one week, DHS and ICE have reversed that statement, thanks to lawsuits from multiple schools, including the first by Harvard and MIT, throughout 17 states. We know this ordeal caused an abundance of unnecessary stress on foreign students and we hope that now they can rest easy now with this recent update. To find more information, you can visit ICE.gov.
